Festival of Ancient Cities
Talk: 3.15-3.45
I will be giving a talk at 3.15-3.45pm to the East Oxford Community Classics Centre as part of their Festival of Ancient Cities. This event is a celebration of the great classical cities, with areas of the school themed on different ancient sites! All visitors will be given a passport which they can get stamped for visiting the different regions, and will also be able to follow our artefact treasure trails across the school. Other speakers during the day include Natalie Haynes, Martha Kearney & Bettany Hughes. As well as hosting these talks, the EOCCC are running activities, stalls and exhibitions, a walk-through lost cities exhibition in the Library and the opportunity to see their artefact mural trails. There will also be live music and drama performances, including the award-winning UNMYTHABLE.
